Sports Authority of India, SAI, New Delhi invites application for the following posts:Positions:
1) Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
Total number of posts: 29
Scale of Pay : PB 1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- plus grade pay Rs. 1900/- P.M.
Age Limit : Candidates age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01.01.2011
2) Junior Accountant
Total number of posts: 45
Scale of Pay : PB 1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- plus grade pay Rs. 2400/- P.M.
Age Limit : Candidates age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01.01.2011

The application form in prescribed format. The envelope containing the application must be superscribed in bold letters on top as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF______________” duly filled in may be sent To The Post Box No. 7049, Indraprastha Post Office, New Delhi - 110002, on or before 15.04.2011.

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is a body set up by the Government of India. It was created in 1984 to help promote sport throughout the country. Presently, it has seven regional centres at Bangalore, Gandhinagar, Kolkata, Sonepat, Delhi, Mumbai and Imphal and two sub-centres at Guwahati and Aurangabad. Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala, the Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, Thiruvananthapuram are the major sports institutes run by this body. It has also a High Altitude Training Centre at Shillaroo, Himachal Pradesh.
