CEED 2011 Exam Dates Application Form Download Eligibility

Common Entrance Examination for Design 2011 (CEED 2011)  

CEED is a qualifying examination for the following postgraduate programmes in design.

Master of Design Programmes

Admission Procedure:

Details of test and interview for admission to be notified separately by the respective institutes.

A limited number of assistantships available for candidates with valid CEED/GATE score.

Eligibility for CEED 2011:

Candidates must either have completed or be expecting to complete any of the following, by July 2011:

1.      Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design / Interior Design, or equivalent

2.      Professional Diploma of NID / Professional Diploma of CEPT (5 year program) or equivalent

3.      BFA (4 year professional programme, after 10+2)

4.      GD Art (5 year programme, after 10th) followed by one year professional experience

5.      Master's degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications

Note: All Degree/Diploma/Professional courses must satisfy 10+2+4 pattern or more

Before applying for CEED, candidates must assure themselves that they are eligible to seek admission to the specific programme they are interested in.

There is no age limit and a candidate can appear in CEED any number of times.

CEED Online Application Website will open on 20th September, 2010 and close on 25th October, 2010.

ONLINE Application Form for CEED 2011 can be filled up from Monday, September 20, 2010 to Monday, October 25, 2010.

Date of Examination  16th January 2011, Sunday  (14:00 to 17:00 hrs)

Objective:

- Assessment of aptitude for design, involving:

- Visual perception ability

- Drawing skills

- Logical reasoning

- Creativity and communication skills

Qualifying Examination for Admission to Master of Design (M.Des) Programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati and IIT Kanpur, and Ph.D. Programmes in Design in some of the above Institutes, for the Academic Year 2011-2012.

( 475/- for SC/ST/PD applicants).
