NIPER (National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research) organizes admissions for courses like M.Pharm, M.Tech. (Pharm.), MBA (Pharm.) and M.S. (Pharm.) through NIPER Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) NIPER JEE (National Institute of Pharmaceuticals Education and Research Joint Entrance Examination) is the national level entrance test organized to give admissions to PG (Post Graduate) level pharmacy courses. PG courses pharmacy field are provided in its component institutes at Ahmedabad, Hajipur, Guwahati, Kolkata, S.A.S. Nagar (Punjab), Rae Barelli and Hyderabad. NIPER performs the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) at different test centers in the country. NIPER (National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research) is situated in Punjab and has been acknowledged as the 'Institute of National Importance'. It was recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Department of Pharmaceuticals. Stretched in 130 acres land, this institute is also the member of Association of Commonwealth Universities as well as Association of Indian Universities.
