DIRECT RECRUITMENT
Applications are invited in the prescribed form from the bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for the under mentioned post under the Government of Tripura:-
Item No. 01: 1(one) (ST) temporary post of Deputy Director, Group-A, Gazetted under the Education (Social Welfare & Social Education) Department, Government of Tripura in the Scale of Rs.13,575-37,000/-(Pay Band No.4) with Grade Pay of Rs.3700/- plus admissible allowances.
Educational Qualification :-
(i) Master’s Degree in Social Work/Welfare/Home Science/ Child Development.
(ii) Successful completion of at least 3(three) months course under Computer Application. Age:- Age 18 to 37 years as on 31.01.2011. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC,STand Government Servants. Provided that the Govt. servants of SC,ST& PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available to them.
Item No. 02: 1(one) (UR) temporary post of Senior Scientific Officer, Group-A, Gazetted for the State Drugs Testing Laboratory under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura in the scale of PB-4, Rs.13,575-37,000/-with Grade Pay of Rs.4800/- plus admissible allowances.
Educational Qualification:- (i) Education: Graduate Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University. (ii) Experience : Fulfils the experience for appointment of Government Analyst as laid down under rule 44 of the Drugs & Cosmetics Rules, 1945, as amended from time to time. Age:- Upto 50 years as on 31-01-2011. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of ST/SC/PH candidates and Government Servants. Provided that the Govt. servants of SC, ST& PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available to them.
ITEM NO. 03 :- 4 (four) [SC=1, ST=1 & UR=2] pmt. posts of Supervisor (Technical) in Police Communication Organization, Group-C, Non-Gazetted under the Home Department in the scale of pay of Rs.5310-2400/-(PB-2)Grade pay-2400/- plus admissible allowances.
Educational Qualification:
Essential:- Should have passed at least B.Sc or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / B.Sc(Hons) examination in Physics. Preference will be given to the candidates with minimum 2 (two) years experience in Wireless / Radio Communication. OR minimum 3 (three) years Diploma in Electronics / Tele Communication / Radio Engineering OR in Electrical Engineering with Radio communication from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to the candidates with 1 (one) year experience in Wireless / Radio Communication from a recognized Institute. Preference will be given to the candidates with 1(one) year experience in Wireless/Radio Communication. OR Matriculation or equivalent with 18 (eighteen) months Radio Mechanics Course from I.T.I. or a recognized Institute with 5 (five) years experience in Wireless / Radio Communication OR Ex-Police / Ex-Service / Ex-BSF / CRPF / Assam Rifles DCPW personnel with 10 (ten) years experience on Technical side of Wireless Radio Communication Signal wings and having passed Gr.-II or equivalent proficiency Examination.

Other Important information related with the above item:
(1) The number of post to be filled up is subject to increase or decrease following requisition of the Department.
(2) The last date of receiving application is 31.01.2011. The application(s) received after the closing date will not be entertained.
(3 Prescribed Form availability: The 4(four) pages printed application Form will be available from any of the total 111 nos. of Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank located at different places of Urban and Rural areas in the State of Tripura on deposit of the prescribed Recruitment Fee through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favour of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. in the same Branch/Extension counter as a single window system without any extra charge/Commission from the candidates.
For the candidates outside of the State, the said prescribed Form can also be down loaded from the Website http://www.tpsc.gov.in and in that case, the prescribed Recruitment Fee is to be paid to the Account no.31176521319 of the State Bank of India (core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission. The said deposit Bank Receipt is to be affixed with the filled up application form in the specified Box on the 1st page of the form.
(4) Rate of Recruitment Fees :
(i) Group –A Posts:-Rs.200/= (Rupees Two Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs.150/= (Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(ii) Group – C Posts :- Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred} only for General Candidates and Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty) only for ST/SC/BPL Cardholders / Physically Handicapped candidates.
(5) SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.
(6) The applicants must be in possession of the prescribed minimum qualification(s) for the post on the closing date for submission of application as mentioned in the advertisement.
(7) The application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates as noted in the application form may be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM (31.01.2011) of the closing date & to obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number.
The candidates who are to send application by post, are also required to attach to the application; a self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No.,Item No.and name of the post applied for. Application will be acknowledged by the Commission by returning this card to the candidates after indicating the Registration No. allotted to the candidates. No separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them.
(8) The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be the final.
(9) Assessment and evaluation of the answer scripts done by the Commission shall be final and shall not be open to scrutiny by any external authority.
(10) Date, time and venue of Screening Test / Interview of the eligible qualified candidates will be notified in due course.

About TPSC
The provision for constitution of Public Service Commission was first incorporated under Article 96C of the Government of India Act,1919. Thereafter in 1923 ‘Lee Commission’ was constituted for the purpose of formulating the principles/terms and conditions of Public Service Commission. Subsequently, as per recommendations of the ‘Lee Commission’ Federal Public Service Commission was established in India for the first time, on 1st October, 1926. Lee Commission also recommended for establishment of Provincial Public Service Commissions
Tripura got her statehood on 21st January,1972 and Tripura Public Service Commission was established on 30th October, 1972, under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India. Sri G.P.Bagchi was the first Chairman and Sri I.K.Roy was the first Member of the Tripura Public Service Commission. The Commission is, at present, located at the old Assembly House of Tripura,
