Recruitment of research staff in DBT funded project Applications are invited in prescribed pro forma for the following posts under the DBT funded SIBRI project, “Development of Dual Resistance in Tomato against virus infection & insect damage (Phase I); code: 24-216 (TG 1081), PI- Dr. Shelly Praveen, Senior Scientist.” Detailed qualification and pay etc. of the posts are given below:
1) Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Total Number of posts: 01
Essential Qualification: M.Sc.in Biochemistry / Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/ /Life Sciences
Desirable:
i) Hands on experiences in Molecular Biology/ Tissue Culture techniques with proven published record.
ii) Experience in handling softwares involved in Life Sciences research.
Pay: Rs. 14,000/-P.M. (Consolidated) + HRA as admissible
2) Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Total Number of posts: 01
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Biochemistry / Plant Pathology Biotechnology/ / Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences).
Desirable: Hands on experiences in Molecular Biology techniques.
Pay: Rs. 12,000/-P.M. (Consolidated) + HRA as admissible
1. Age maximum 35 years on the date of advertisement, relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/women and 3 years for OBC candidates.
2. The positions are purely temporary and shall be terminated on termination of the project.
3. The eligible candidates may apply on prescribed pro forma through ordinary post only. No other documents like attested copies of testimonials or research papers should be attached. Candidates are advised to write the project code and post applied for on the top left of the envelop. Applications must reach the Principal Investigator, Division of Plant Pathology, IARI, New Delhi-110012 within 15 days from the date of appearance of advertisement in the IARI website. The Principal Investigator will issue the call letter for interview to the eligible candidates after screening.
4. Applications can also be submitted on acpv2010@gmail.com followed by a hard copy through ordinary post.
5. If any information furnished by the candidate is found incorrect, his/her candidature will be rejected without notice and no correspondence will be entertained in this matter.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
