National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), New Delhi (An Autonomous Body under Department of Science and Technology, Government of India)
NABL is a signatory to Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) since 2000. As a result of these MRA’s, test / calibration reports of NABL accredited laboratories are considered equivalent to the reports issued by accredited laboratories in 55 countries.
NABL has been growing exponentially by scaling up in number of accredited laboratories in existing areas and adding new areas of accreditation to keep pace with the science and technology. To meet this expansion, we wish to recruit outstanding candidates who can realize the management practice and structure to cope with the expansion:
Code: AO-I/TESTCAL
ACCREDITATION OFFICERS GRADE I (for Accreditation of Testing / Calibration Laboratories)
No. of Vacancies – 3 subject to variation (Un-Reserved-01, OBC-01, SC-01)
The right candidate would be Master’s Degree in Science or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in any discipline from recognized university with minimum 7 years experience in reputed laboratory / laboratory based research / Quality Assurance in industry out of which 2 years experience in laboratory accreditation related activities.
Strong managerial & technical skills, leadership qualities, good communication skills and computer proficiency is desired.
AGE: Not exceeding 33 years
Code: AO-II/MED
ACCREDITATION OFFICERS GRADE II (for Accreditation of Medical Testing Laboratories)
No. of Vacancies – 2 subject to variation (Un-Reserved)
The right candidate would be Master’s Degree in any branch of Medical Science from recognized university with minimum 10 years experience in reputed laboratory / laboratory based research / Quality Assurance in Hospital/Industries out of which 4 years experience in laboratory accreditation related activities.
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from recognized university with minimum 8 years experience in reputed laboratory / laboratory based research / Quality Assurance in Hospital. A Master’s Degree in pathology will be desirable.
Strong managerial & technical skills, leadership qualities, good communication skills and computer proficiency is desired.
AGE: Not exceeding 38 years

National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) is an autonomous body under the aegis of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, and is registered under the Societies Act. NABL has been established with the objective to provide Government, Industry Associations and Industry in general with a scheme for third-party assessment of the quality and technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories. Government of India has authorised NABL as the sole accreditation body for Testing and Calibration laboratories.
