Eligibility & Mode of Admission:
1) Eligibility and mode of admission shall be as prescribed by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) constituted by Government of Gujarat. Guidelines and norms for admission on NRI seats are available on our institute website and also on website of ACPC.
2) Merit list will be prepared as per rules of ACPC & same will be displayed at the office of the institute and also on the institute website: http://www.nirmauni.ac.in. Latest by 29th June 2010.
3) Schedule of counseling will be intimated by post / courier in due course of time.
Students are admitted on the basis of Centralized Selection Procedure carried out by Joint Admission Committee and the list of eligible candidates sent by the committee.

In 1994, the founder of Nirma Industries and an internationally famous entrepreneur Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel crystallized his long cherished dream of providing world-class facilities for professional education in Gujarat. He established Nirma Education & Research Foundation (NERF), which in turn established, in a 110-acre campus, six leading institutions within a span of fourteen years: Institute of Technology in 1995, Institute of Management in 1996, Institute of Diploma Studies in 1997, Institute of Pharmacy in 2003, Institute of Science in 2004 and Institute of Law in 2007.
The establishment of the Nirma University in April 2003 as a statutory university under the Gujarat State Act at the initiative of the NERF was a natural consequence of the very high standards achieved by the first three institutes. The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) of UGC Act. Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel, Chairman, Nirma Group of Companies and Chairman, NERF is the President of the University. Dr. N.V.Vasani is the Director of the University. All the institutes have now become the constituents of the university.
