Selection: Candidates seeking admission to the PGDM are required to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIM's or MAT conducted by AIMA. Final selection will be based on the performance in CAT/MAT and subsequent Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

New Delhi Institute of Management was established by the "Society for Employment and Career Counseling" in 1995 for promoting professional education in Business keeping in mind social welfare of the masses.
The NDIM started functioning with effect from September 11, 1996.
CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY /COMMUNITY
NDIM is run by Society for Employment and Career Counseling, which is a National Level NGO. It has been conducting free coaching for various competitive exams since its inception for SC/ST/OBC and weaker sections of the society.
Till Date we have imparted training to roughly 3000 such needy students.
In addition to this, under NORAD Scheme we have imparted computer training for full 1 year to 60 women of weaker section of society.
We had provided Training and Coaching for 'O' Level to 125 SC Candidates referred by the SC Department of Delhi Govt.
