Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) Engineering Entrance exam

UPTU SEE (Uttar Pradesh Technical University State Entrance Examination) is the entrance exam to give admissions to various technical courses like management, engineering, architecture, fashion & design, pharmacy, Computer Applications, hotel management, etc. UPTU was recognized in year 2000 by Uttar Pradesh government and is amongst the biggest technical universities of India. There are individual entrance exams for diverse fields. 

To get admissions in the different professional courses in the private unaided or government colleges, applicants are chosen on basis of this exam. There is ample management, architecture, engineering and pharmacy and colleges existing in the Uttar Pradesh. Candidates need to clear this exam and need to sit for the counseling program. These colleges offer well-resourced campuses which contain up to date labs, library, and well equipped class rooms, meant for students. The institutes also give internet connections all over the campus. The institute offers transportation facility for the students and also provides residential facilities as well. 

Popularity of Exam

Lots of students across the Uttar Pradesh appear in the UPTU SEE entrance exam of engineering every year to get admissions in to various engineering colleges of Uttar Pradesh so the competition is fairly tough. Since seats are limited for every course, students need to work hard for getting the desired course. Students need to secure higher marks in entrance exam of Uttar Pradesh Technical University and had to sit for the counseling program.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate need have cleared 12th class exam with Mathematics and Physics and any one of subsequent subjects: Bio-Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or Computer Science.

Application Forms 

The application forms of UPTU SEE will be offered from all the Head Post Offices in Uttar Pradesh, Dehradun, Delhi, and Nainital. The form may also be got through post by sending the necessary amount of Demand Draft with the form request letter. 

Examination Pattern

2 papers will be there for B.Tech entrance:

Paper 1

Physics & Chemistry: It has 75 questions about Physics & Chemistry and 150 minutes

Paper 2

Mathematics: 90 questions and 90 minutes 

There are no negative marking.
