Short Service Commission (SSC) (NT) Course April-2011 for Law Graduates Women
Applications are invited from law graduates (unmarried women) for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army for Judge Advocate General Dept.
Positions:
1) SSC Offices Law Graduate Women
Total Number of posts = 10
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have 55% marks in LLB Degree (3 years after Graduation or 5 years after 10+2)
Candidates should meet eligibility criteria for enrollment as as advocate.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21-27 years
Pay scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- + MSP Rs.6000/-

The Indian Army is the land based branch and the largest component of the Indian Armed Forces. With about 1,414,000 soldiers in active service[2] and about 1,800,000 reserve troops, the Indian Army is the world's second-largest standing army.[3] Its primary mission is to ensure the national security and defence of the Republic of India from external aggression and threats, and maintaining peace and security within its borders. It also conducts humanitarian rescue operations during natural calamities and other disturbances. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Army. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), a General, is a four star commander and commands the Army. There is never more than one serving general at any given time in the Army.
