Applications are invited from the interested candidates fulfilling the following norms and having aptitude to carry out research work at NRSC, Hyderabad as per the details given below

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in ISRO HYDERABAD 2010

JRF 009; no of post: 01; qualification: M.Tech/M.Sc in Atmospheric Science/Meterology/Agricultural Meteorology; desirable: Experience in climate change studies, satellite data analysis, crop modeling and computer programming

JRF 010; no of post: 01; qualifications: M.Sc in Physical Oceanography/Physics/Statistics; desirable: Remote sensing and GIS, Statistics and knowledge in programming languages

JRF 011; no of post: 02; qualifications: M.Tech/M.Sc in Remote sensing/Physics/Physical Oceanography; desirable: Experience in analysis of satellite data, generation of statistics, computer languages

JRF 012; no of post: 01; qualifications: M.Sc in Physical Oceanography/Meteorology or M.Tech in atmospheric Science; Desirable: Knowledge in data processing (Satellite/in-situ/reanalyzed products) using statistical methods. Computer knowledge in C+/Fortran 77 or higher. Preference will be given to those who are working in the relevant projects for the last two years

JRF 013; no of post: 01; qualifications: M.Sc in Chemical Oceanography/Marine Chemistry/Biological Oceanography or M.Sc in Marine Sciences with above specializations; desirable: Knowledge in data processing (Satellite/in-situ/reanalyzed products) using statistical methods. Computer knowledge in C+/Fortran 77 or higher. Preference will be given to those who are working in the relevant projects for the last two years

JRF 015; no of posts: 01; qualifications: M.Sc in Botany/Forestry/Ecology/Agriculture (Plant/Tree Physiology as specialization)/Environmental Science after B.Sc in Botany; desirable: work experience in plant taxonomy/RS & GIS

JRF 016; no of posts: 01; qualifications: M.Sc in Mathematics/Physics/Statistics or M.Tech/B.Tech in CSE/IT; desirable: working experience in database handling and computer programming (C++/Java/Fortran)

JRF 017; no of posts: 01; qualifications: M.Tech/M.Sc/B.E. with knowledge in C/C++; desirable: Aptitude to work in software development

JRF 018; no of posts: 01; qualifications: M.Sc (Ag) in Physics/Soil Physics/Soil Science or M.Sc in Physics with specialization in Electronics or M.Sc in Electronics/Geoinformatics; desirable: experience in-situ field level spectral reflectance measurements using spectro-radiometer in different terrain conditions

JRF 019; no of posts: 01; qualification: M.Sc in Remote Sensing and GIS/Geoinformatics after graduation in Geography; desirable: working knowledge in Computer Programming, GIS Software, Statistical techniques and Aptitude for Research work

JRF 020; no of posts: 01; qualifications: Master’s in Urban or Regional Planning; desirable: working knowledge in Computer programming, GIS Software, Analytical Techniques and Aptitude for Research work

JRF 021; no of posts: 01; qualifications: M.Sc in Physics/Atmospheric Physics or M.Tech in Atmospheric Science; desirable: Knowledge in Remote Sensing, GIS, Computer Programming in C, C++

JRF 022; no of posts: 01; qualifications: M.Tech/M.Sc in Remote Sensing/Physics/Agricultural Physics/ Agrometeorology; desirable: experience in satellite data analysis, crop modeling and computer programming

JRF 023; no of posts: 01; qualifications: M.Sc in Geoinformatics; desirable: experience in handling data of microwave sensors

JRF 024; no of posts: 01; qualifications: M.Tech/M.Sc (Tech)/M.Sc in Geology/Applied Geology/ Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics; desirable: knowledge in GIS and Remote Sensing will be an added advantage

Fellowship amount: Rs 12,000/- plus HRA 30%, degree(s) mentioned for the fellowships in this advertisement means first class degrees only i.e. from B.Sc onwards with good academic record

In case of M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc/B.E./B.Tech the candidates should posses first class with not less than 65% of marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on 10 scale or equivalent from B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc onwards

Age for all the fellowships should not be more than 30 years as on the last date of receipt of applications. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PwD will be admissible as per rules
