Probation Period – Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 1 year. After successful completion of probation, the officers will be confirmed in MMGS-II position.

Confirmation: The confirmation of the newly recruited Specialist Officers will be subject to satisfactory completion of one year probation period.

Eligibility Criteria :

A. Nationality / Citizenship :A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India, OR (ii) a subject of Nepal, OR (iii) subject of Bhutan, OR (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, OR (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Governmnt of India.

Post-Qualification Experience :

3 years in IT in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or as a member of Facility Management team of CBS System Integrator.

Previous Experience in CBS (Finacle) implementation and maintenance along with exposure on any two or more in the following areas :

Software acquisition / Development Hardware acquisition / maintenance -different operating systems and RDBMS with emphasis on ORACLE - proficiency in front end development Tools like developer 2000, visual studio etc. - knowledge in ASP / PHP / JAVA / C++ / COBOL - Networking & Communication - UNIX /Windows NT / Windows 2003 - Data Centre Management/ Data Warehousing and mining / - payment gateway Management - Banking delivery channel - On-line Share Trading /Cyber & IT Security management /System Audit .

Selection Procedure:

Selection procedure will be through group discussion and/or personal interview.

d. Take a Print of the ‘FEE PAYMENT CHALLAN’.

e. Fill in the Fee Payment Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS.

f. Go to the nearest UCO Bank Branch with the Fee payment Challan and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in the designated CBS Account as given in the fee payment challan.

1)  Junior Computer Engineer – 1 position  

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Science (B. Sc.) / Engineering (B. E.) or a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Applications (BCA / MCA) from a reputed Institution / University.  

Experience: Minimum one year experience in web page programming and database handling using PHP / MySQL or .NET/SQL server or java and also experience in using Linux, Apache Web Server, PHP, MySQL and Shell Programming. The candidate should have experience in Linux / Unix administration. Applicants with experience in Window Administration only will not be considered.  

Nature of job:  

The candidate would have to do all kinds of web-site related works as a Software Programmer – e.g., managing the Centre's website, managing the departmental and individual faculty profiles, putting notices and forms on web, on-line application forms for admission, managing on-line versions of Annual Reports and Annual Research Profiles and any other job as needed. In addition, the employee is expected to coordinate and share responsibility of duties assigned to other members of the Computer Centre.

Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences,  an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, invites applications from Indian Nationals for the contractual post of  Senior Computer Engineer primarily for maintenance and upkeep of it's 4-5 clusters (this may increase in future) as a System Administrator as per the following requirements:  

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science or Electronics OR Bachelor’s degree in Science with Masters in Computer Application. Proficiency  in Linux/ Unix administration.  

Essential Qualification: Knowledge of Cluster architecture (both hardware and software) 

Experience: Minimum two years' experience in Cluster management as well as in Linux administration in an organization of repute. 

Nature of job:  

Primarily Cluster computer administration i.e. managing the job scheduler, day to day maintenance of master node and interconnections, maintenance of all cluster computers in the Centre.  

In addition, the employee would have to coordinate and share responsibility of routine duties assigned to other members of the Computer Centre which involves Networking (TCP/IP, NIS/NFS, Fire walling, IP routing, email and web server configuration, samba), Website design, Vendor and asset management etc. 

Age: Not more than 35 years. 

Salary: Approximately Rs. 41,000/- per month (consolidated)

IIT Bombay was the second IIT to be established in 1958 with assistance from UNESCO and with funds contributed by the Soviet Union. RECRUITMENT OF COMPUTER OPERATORS IN SECONDARY LEVEL HOSPITALS

The advertised posts category-wise are as under:

For General Category (103), Scheduled Castes (51), Backward Classes (24), Handicapped (6),  Ex-Servicemen (14), Sportsmen (4), Freedom Fighter (2), Total = 204. 

Candidates possessing a Graduation degree from a recognized University with one year Computer Diploma in Computer Applications from any Government or a recognized Institute, aged between 18 to 37 years as on 31.1.2011 would be eligible. He/She should have passed Punjabi examination up to Matric.  The candidate can apply online on                   C-DAC’s website http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in. along with Demand Draft amounting to Rs.250/- (Two Hundred and Fifty Rupees) for General Category and Rs.100/- (One Hundred Rupees)  for Reserved Category as examination fee in favour of the Director, C-DAC Mohali. 

HOW TO APPLY  AND OTHER INFORMATION:

1. Before applying online, Demand Draft of requisite fee (non-refundable) in favor of “DIRECTOR, C-DAC Mohali” payable at Mohali/Chandigarh should be ready as per the amount applicable for the category of the candidate as these details are required to be entered in the online application form.

2. Fill up the form available on the website http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in by clicking at the link PHSC   

3. The application will be received online from the date of publication of advertisement till  20.1.2011   up to 5 p.m.

4. Get the printouts (2 copies) of the filled-in online form, Registration slip bearing Registration Number and other details of the candidate as filled in by him/ her online.

5. Write down the online Registration number and name at the back of the Demand Draft.

6. Send/Post one copy of the Online Registration Slip (Printed) with a self attested photograph along with the original Demand Draft of requisite fee (non-refundable) to C-DAC Mohali, A-34, Phase VIII Industrial Area, Mohali. which should reach positively by 25.1.2011 (Please do not send any other document). The Application fee/Demand Draft received after the last date i.e. 25.1.2011  will not be considered.

7. The candidate can check his/her fee confirmation by visiting the site again by entering his/her registration number and password from 27.1. 2011 onwards.

8. Candidate is advised to keep his/her password strictly confidential.

9. For any clarifications regarding the online filling of the form, the candidate can call at C-DAC Mohali help-line                               0172-2237052-53  on all working days from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. 

10. Candidates will be responsible for any mistakes made by him/ her in the online application form. PHSC and C-DAC shall not be responsible or liable in any way.

11. A written test for all candidates will be held on 13.02.2011 at 11.30 am. Venue for the test will be intimated on the Admit Card, available online on website http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in, which should be downloaded and printed and should be available with the candidate at the time of written test.

12. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the written test and will be available on www.punjabhealth.co.in after 16.02.2011 along with information regarding the venue, date and time of counselling.  Candidates will not be informed individually about the result and counselling schedule.
