50% seats are reserved for the minorities. Admission request form is available from 03.01.2011 at University Counter against cash payment of Rs 1000/- towards Entrance Test and Processing Fee for Test Courses and Rs 700/- towards Admission Processing Fee for Non Test Courses. (Rs. 100/- extra, if required by post) in form of DD in favour of “Treasurer Integral University” payable at Lucknow. Request Forms are also available on University Websites. Which can be downloaded, filled up and submitted along with the prescribed fee within due date. About Integral University

Integral University is a state university in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, India, which was established under the Act Number 9 of 2004 by the Uttar Pradesh state government. The Institute of Integral Technology, Lucknow has been elevated to a full university.

The university is located 13 kilometres away from the heart of Lucknow city on Lucknow Kursi Road at a peaceful and serene place against the sylvan beauty of Kukrail Reserve Forest.

The project started with a school in small huts. The foundation stone was laid on 30 November 1993 by the scholar Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Hasni Nadvi, Rector of Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulema, Lucknow. The school was then shifted to a main building which was inaugurated by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh P. Shri Moti Lal Vohra on 14 January 1996. An engineering college was simultaneously established by the Islamic Council for Productive Education in 1997, which started functioning from 1998 with two courses - Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics Engineering. Late other courses like Architecture, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and MCA were added.

Eligibility:

Applicants should sit for the CAT 2010/XAT 2011 exams and have at least a three-year Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any discipline from any college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.

Those appearing for their final year Bachelor's degree examination in April / May 2011 may also apply, provided they complete their final degree examination and meet other requirements before the commencement of the course in the first week of June 2011. They need to submit the degree certificate / provisional pass certificate and marks sheets latest by 31 August, 2011.

Students may also be considered for admission on the basis of a valid GMAT score.

Selection Process: Selection for the PGDM programme will be based on the performance in CAT 2010/XAT 2011/GMAT, academic achievements, work experience and personal interview. Short-listed candidates will be called for a personal interview between February and March 2011.

Eligibility:

Indian Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of

Ø       12th level with Mathematics and

Ø       Bachelor’s Degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized University with any one of the following as one of the subjects

Those who have done Bridge Course in Mathematics are also eligible to apply. The percentages of marks for (i) and (ii) given above are to be calculated on the basis of method used by respective Board / University. Students completing degree from Open Universities are also eligible to apply provided their course is approved by UGC/AICTE / Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for NIMCET2011. Such candidates shall have to furnish the proof of fulfilling the eligibility criteria of NIMCET2011 preferably at the time of Counseling/Admission but not later than 31st August, 2011, failing which, their admission may be cancelled by the respective NITs. State quota is applicable only for the state of Tamil Nadu .Candidate passed / appeared for qualifying exam from Tamil Nadu will be eligible for Tamil Nadu State Quota of NIT – Trichurapalli. For all other NIT’s only all India quota is applicable.

WEB ENABLED ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM:

Eligible candidates are required to fill in web enabled on-line application form from any place of their convenience. Candidates are required to create user login Id and password for themselves and should use the same as and when required. Candidates are not permitted to create multiple Ids’ in any case. If there is any problem in login creation then candidate are required to contact Secretary NIMCET 2011.

Score card of all eligible candidates will be made available on http://www.nimcet2011nitb.in/. Candidate is required to download their score card using their login Id from the NIMCET 2011 website. No separate Score Card will be sent to the candidates. Candidate’s score and rank based on NIMCET2011 is valid for admission to MCA course to the Participating Institutes for 2011-2012 session only.
